centreleft // a new voice from the British left

Contributors

CentreLeft is a multi-author anonymous blog.  It’s anonymous for very boring reasons.  Our contributors include PPCs, researchers, think tankers and journalists who would either not be able to write, or not be able to write so honestly, if we asked them to put names to their posts.

In the coming weeks – as we finalise both the site’s layout and complete our team of authors – I will upload some suitably ambigous profiles of those writing to give more of an idea where the writers are coming from.

I’m not convinced by that.

Surely the policy establishment are precisely the organisations who should be willing to let their employees think in public.

Researchers and PPCs I’ll accept a bit more, but I find it deeply worrying that they feel it necessary to be dishonest in their daily lives in the political world. That would be an interesting subject for them to address anonymously, I suppose.

Anyway – wish you success with the blog.
